50 Best Explores is a series that shines a spotlight on a region's culinary character by showcasing it through the eyes of top chefs.
​
The basic concept is to bring chefs from the 50 Best family and partner them with a local chef and capture their discovery of a new terrain together. From produce and producers to terroir and culture, this series highlights the location, restaurants, bars, and culinary talents. The experiences are shared live across social media and subsequently documentary-style videos and accompanying articles are released. Additionally, press releases go out announcing the destination and once the video series launch. Other PR is gained by having one journalist on each trip to obtain an exclusive first-hand account.

So far destinations have included Thailand, Peru, and Canada. The 50 Best Explores coverage on 50 Best's channels recieved an honouree distinction in the Webby Awards.
